This week's No. 1 team in college hockey is the undefeated Michigan Tech Huskies. After being unranked in the preseason and first three polls, Tech climbed from 17 to nine to five to one. The Huskies were last ranked No. 1 in 1976.

Funny video, I will have to search for the clip where Conan played "Rock Band". That was even funnier.

Daughter's Musical Education - Letter H
Hank Williams - 20th Century Masters: Millennium Collection
Letter H and I are both very challenging to come up with music simply due to the limited full albums that I have for artists starting with those letters.
In preparing this blog post, did some reading on Hank Williams, turns out his birthday was September 17th, the day I happened to play this album in the car.

Answer to a Commentator's Question
Steve asked: "What are your top 5 favorite songs?"
Here is an answer simply based on play counts on my iPhone.
1) Bawitdaba - Kid Rock (43 plays)
2) La Cienega Just Smiled - Ryan Adams (43 plays)
3) Gonna Be Some Changes - Bruce Hornsby (42 plays)
4) Back in Black - AC/DC (42 plays)
5) Higher and Higher - Jackie Wilson (35 plays)
Historical footnote: Higher and Higher was the song playing at Sandra's and mine wedding when we were introduced into the reception. One of my wedding tasks was music and I felt I hit that choice out of the park.

Daughter's Musical Education - Letter W
I drive Lena to school Tuesday, Thursday, and every other Friday. I will also pick her up from volleyball practice a few times a week.
I started playing my favorite albums by artist in alphabet order starting with W. The routine is that I move to the next letter of the alphabet on every trip.
Lena is not aware of my musical lessons.

World Party - Private Revolution
